Drs Appt

Does anyone else have any issue with being seen on time at their doctors office. I go to my doctors appt at 2:30 today only to be told they are an hour behind. I said ok I will wait, will at 5:00 the nurse come in to tell me that u have two people in front of u, it will be another 1hour to hour and 1/2 to be seen, we were just seeing our 10 oclock patient at 3:30.. what?!?!? .. what the heck had they been doing for the last 2 and 1/2 hours. I mean seriously what vaginal issue have these woman been having that I have to wait for 4 hours to have my appt that was made a week prior. The minute I show up 15 mins late they are ready to make u reschedule. Double standard! Any way needless to say I didn't get seen today, i have to get my other children from day care at 5:30 so hopefully everything is all good with my baby. ThThis is the second time they did that the first time I had an appt at 9:00 and I had to leave to egt to work. Said they wouldn't able to see me after noon.

I have gone to this doctors office for years and never had an issue. They built this new facility and expanded and ever since then the quality has gone down the drain. I start my prenatal visit late in the beginninh of jan ( I know bad stacie) but since then I have seen 3 different doctors. Like how ate u suppose to build relationships and understand people circumstances if u van't manage to give them the same doc. I am sure they don't write verbatum what u discuss in ur chart. I was suppose to get a perscription for support stocking because my feet swell last visit. They forgot, so whe mm I went back today the nurse said I have it I will give it to u today so since I wasn't seseen I still didn't get my perscription.. they are horrible now!! And I will be sure to complain. But it doesn't seem to matter at ththis point I have 2 appts left anf I woll done with all of them..

I am 37 weeks today.. so switching would be just totally pointless because around here it takes 3-4 to get an appt with another doctor. U think because I live in a city that has a major hospital like Johns Hopkins it would be easier wrong!! I think everyone pregnant in this damn city!

Ouch. Longest I've ever had to wait was an hour because they had to clear an ultrasound room. I was supposed to be there for a birth control perception. Whoops!

Sounds like you need to switch doctors...  any facility that has that big of a problem scheduling doctors appointments is not somewhere that I would want to go... I bitched out a doctor where I had to wait 2 hours for an appt and told them they were unprofessional and incompetent at scheduling appts... that was the 1st and last time I went to that doctors... and she wondered why my BP was high on that day... I flat out said- duh, you pissed me off by making me wait that long... I can understand if they are behind by 30 min but for 4 hours?!?! I would have been raising hell... what is the point of making an appt if they don't keep their appts

I never had that problem. The most I ever had to wait was 30 minutes. I have been late a few times and they always accommodate me. Maybe it is because I am high, high risk or live over an hour away. I am sorry You didn't get to be seen. How far along are you and can you switch doctors?
