sharing the news!

My husband wants to share the news that we are finally pregnant (after a long year of trying) on my birthday - March 15th. I'll be 12 weeks 5 days. Our appt to hear the heartbeat isn't until March 26th though. Do you think it would be okay to tell everyone before we hear the heartbeat?

Your risk of miscarriage drops quite a bit after 12 weeks, if you're healthy and haven't had any issues/ previous pregnancies that were lost, I think you're fine! I didn't wait till' 12 weeks lol it's juay a personal decision ...they tell you to wait just in case that way IF there's a problem you don't have to tell anyone...personally I didn't care be cause I would have told my family anyway . Sorry for the book I just wrote you and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

I waited til I heard the heartbeat before I told my family but the reason I chose to do that was because I miscarried back in October and I told everyone about the pregnancy before hearing the heartbeat and then we lost the baby. But I think your safe at this point! However, if you feel better not saying anything until you hear the heartbeat, then your hubby should understand. :) and congrats!
