Fluid tests

Has anyone else every had these fluid pocket checks? They do a sonogram to measure pockets of fluid in the womb. The number has to be over a 7 or I get put back in the hospital for IV fluids. I never heard of such nor had this issue with my son. Meantime, I'm on bed rest & have to drink water all day long, & get tested twice a week. But every time I go in, it's always just above a 7. Enough to just keep me out of the hospital. I'm 36 weeks, 2cm dilated, so I'm about to say forget it & do what I want so maybe I will go into labor! Frustrated!

I've had them done in each of my pregnancies, once when I was just past my due date and another time when my blood pressure was high. The levels are so critical for baby's health, hang in there a few more weeks.
