Food Intake

Hi,  I'm only 6 weeks and 4 days. But I seem to always get nausea.  I try eating soup and crackers.  Its gotten to the point I'm so scared to eat because I don't want to keep vomiting. Can anyone offer some advice on treatments. I do use zofran but that doesn't always work.

Dark chocolate is actually good for u so I heard. I too had really bad nausea. I bought myself lemon drops to help ease my vomiting.

Sometimes it could be twice or three times a day. It seems mid mornings and night is worst.  I go to the doctor on the 20th.  I'll check back with my doctor.

I would suck on a peppermint candy after meals or whenever I felt very nauseated and occasionally having some sunflower seeds to crack open and nibble on helped a lot

I would suck on hard peppermint candies that was recommended to me by a nurse for my nausea
I was also taking Zofran until my 5th month of pregnancy the zofran didn't work very well for me until I adjusted my dose my doctor had me taking it every 8 hours
I stopped taking it every 8 hours and only took it before bedtime one dose before bedtime worked for me for the entire next day I'm not sure why it worked better but it did

Thank you. I'm not really a fan of dark chocolate but I will try anything that's safe right now.  I think I'll load up on some dark chocolate later.

I was reading online that a lot of times nausea is caused by your blood sugar rising and falling very rapidly. So I went and bought a dark cocoa bar and every time I felt nausea I ate a small piece and it really helped me feel better. So try that and see if it works for you
