So I'm doing these hypnobirthing classes and they talk about a fear - tension - pain cycle and claim that if you can cut out the fear then you can cut out the pain. It's kinda a cool idea. I'm trying to think about birthing more like using a muscle and doing a workout that I haven't before. Yes it will be tough, but not painful. Hope that helps.

I also suffer from terrible anxiety and with my first pregnancy with twins I was so terrified of the whole process as well as scared I would have an anxiety attack while in labor but once I actually got to the point, I didn't have a whole lot of time to focus on my actual anxiety. Now that I'm expecting again, I'm having the anxiety all over again and even more because I feel like I will fear the process more knowing exactly what I will encounter. Don't worry too much about it, when your in the moment of meeting your beautiful baby, you will be fine. Let us know how it goes! Best wishes!!

I suffer from panic attacks on a daily basis, is this your first? I a found keeping busy helps a lot and late night walks to clear your mind are the best.  As for pain when your in labor you can get many  different  pain medications  so don't  sweat it,  your body nows what it's doing. Good luck!  I'm due in 6 days!
