Gaining weight too fast

This is my first pregnancy and I'm possibly 5 weeks+ along. I'm extremely concerned about my weight gain. I've got an appt this week with my doctor, but i need answers now! Lol. I've put on 7lbs since taking the Ptest ONE WEEK ago. I keep getting these painful "hunger" pains followed by dizzy spells. Happens at least 4 times a day. I'm making healthy choices but the weight keeps piling on! I've always watched my weight ...i really don't understand why im gaining so fast. I'm also extremely fatigued (10+ sleep), so working out is outta the question (for now, i actually hurt myself. Knee freakishly went out.)  I've noticed my tummy is really firming up. Is there a possibility im further a long? or am I doomed. Im really hoping it's just bloating lol .Tips appreciated.

Thank you for the input :)
Really reliving knowing It's something that happens.  I was discussing this topic with some family.  My mother seems to think the weight will come off during breast feeding. Not sure if it's true, but I'm clinging to that thought lol. On the bright side-i think we're going to have super healthy babies :) lmbo

I had the same concerns at then start of my pregnancy, I had gained almost 13lbs my first month. I expressed my concern with my obgyn but they raised no flags. I upped my walking and ate mostly fruits proteir and so many vegetables daily, stopped drinking soda all together, and couldnt even think about eating junk food or sweet candy without getting nauseous, the weight continued to pile on. I got so discouraged. Today I am 29 weeks and have gained 45lbs!  My last visit I was told to cut calories and exercise more. It is so disappointing.  I just want a healthy baby but I dont know what to do about the weight gain.

Before I got pregnant I stacked on weight, couldn't stop my body doing it then BAM positive pee test! Since then just my belly is getting bigger n heavier. All bodies are different,  but if you have concerns about weight your doc should be able to answer them :) I get weighed every month at OB appointments & they say if healthy gain or not then advise on diet etc. Keep monitoring n talk to dr :)
