Call your doctor or L&D and tell them everything ask for advice. Or try a warm bath and lay down either way you should contact your doctor cause it sounds like labor

I had my first at 38 weeks. If your in that much pain go to the hospital or call your doctor. It is the worst laying in the bed in labor, but unfortunately you also don't want to deliver at home or in the car either.

Why did they slow your labor if you are 37 weeks???? I was told at 37 weeks they wouldn't stop it they just let you have the baby. At least they do at my hospital. My Dr said it's fine if I have the baby anytime now I will be 38 weeks on Thursday!

I would take the advice of a bath. If that bath doesn't help I would go back to labor and delivery and make them admit you. Your full term anyways. No reason for you to stay in pain.

Did your water break before you went in?

Could you go in but not lay in a hospital bed? Like have a shower or bath (this helped me when in constant pain and the contractions separated again and I got relief in the breaks - but I was also really close to birth then as well, so you might not wanna stay at home too long...) and walk or kneel against bed or whatever feels better? Because you're right, laying on your back in bed is the stupidest position for labour...

I just dont want to be there and be sent home again..because the pain is that much worse in a hospital bed and my doctor only gives me i.v's and rushes to get out of the room
