That doesn't sound great I'll definitely check into that. Thx
Docasate is a great stool softener and while you are on promethazine/Phenergan (great for nausea bad for constipation) it's definitely good to have something prophylactic on board. Prune juice is great too. Definitely try to get out and get some walking in too. Again though, if it's been two weeks you are pretty backed up. Talk with your doc, but I would get some glycerin suppositories and use one. Not having a bm for that long puts you at risk for a getting a bowel obstruction.
Darnit I got that wrong again smh. I'm taking docusate. It's a red soft gel. So both the promethazine and docusate. my mind is jumbled. But I've been drinking Nothing But water. I've sent my fiance to get some prune juice so I hope that helps
Promethazine is an anti nausea drug - it's the generic of Phenergan. It's not going to help constipation at all, it will actually make it worse. Try a glycerin suppository if it's been two weeks. They are safe for pregnancy (category B) and work fast. To maintain a healthy bowel regime (hard during pregnancy) increase your fiber and water intake. Try prune juice, lots of ruffage and walking. Colace is an over the counter stool softener that is approved for pregnancy as well.
Try drinking more water, as well as eating.

Mirlax too. You can't taste it.
Im taking phenergan for morning sickness..it's definitely not helping me in that department..Im no Dr but I thought phenergan was for travel sickness and nausea, allergies and its a sedative (what mine says on box)Could you ask for something else?
