Hair color?

Well I've been waiting to get out of my first trimester so I can go get my hair highlighted (much needed) but today when I went to the docs they said to "enter at your own risk" I'm 17 weeks 2 days...so I'm kinda leaning towards not getting it done now:/ anyone have any input on this?

I have two girls I colored my hair more than one time with each pregnancy no harm was done. Just make sure you are in a well ventilated shop

I was told only highlights bc it doesn't touch your shin but if you hairdresser accidentally touches you with it and it sits on your skin for a while them it can harm the baby bc toxins will go througb your skin plus salons aren't very ventilated ....I wouldn't peraonally take that chance I wouldn't I'd wait why chance anything bad happeneing just take a day after babys born and if yiur not breast feeding then wait till done breast feeding to get it done ...but that's my opinion I'm not much of a risk taker bc I've had two missacarriages and one still born so I take no chances at all anymore I'm 15 weeks pregnant now and carful as can be

I've had highlights and full head of blonde and there is no harm done. Only thing you have to be careful of is the colour your hair turns as your hormones might react with the dye

The only thing I've ever heard about coloring you're hair during pregnancy is that the color may not hold. It could fade quickly or even wash right out.

I did it, i did at home ammonia free,  i had ombre done after first tri.or sometime during the 3months in june. Then went over it all to do a good transition,  then touched up my roots later, and just last month went over my entire hair to go dark again and one color. Keep it ventilated,  ammonia free,  and i also did my roots last so it wasn't too long on it. Lastly my hair dresser had told me as well its ok to dye hair. Hope that helped a little.

I asked my hair dresser during my first pregnancy about hair dying and was told it was fine. Just be in a ventilated room because of chemicals. Only thing i found is the dye doesnt last as well, to do with pregnancy hormones. I find it lightens quickly whilst pregnant. Im 10 weeks and us the diy home box dyes
