due date today!

40 weeks today, due date and no sign of baby boy coming! I'm getting very anxious and nervous. First pregnancy, I was hoping he'd be here. Any mommies out there go past the due date?

They usually say that your first pregnancy can go past the due date. As much as you may be 40weeks,  birth can occur 2 weeks before due date or 2 after due date. But your OB will ensure you do not go past the 42 weeks. If the baby has not dropped by 42 weeks, labour will be induced. Don't be nervous, just keep monitoring for fetal movements.
hope this helps.

The due date is hardly ever when the baby comes. My first i went into early labour naturally first thing in the morning the day after my due date and he wasn't born until the early hours of the following day.
