tailbone pain

Ok ladies. Had anyone experienced the severe tailbone pain during about week 9/10? I'm currently 10 weeks and the pain is getting worse. It feels as though I broke my tailbone but I know I haven't. I have read this is normal, but I want to see if anyone else had this this early on and what to about it because I am in so much pain. It's only my right side and going to My sacral area. :(
Thanks ladies!

Ladies thank you! I don't have a j lo booty, I'm kind of small but hour glass shape if that makes sense. I broke my tailbone in high school and it feels the same way but this time it is radiating on the right side of my sacral area. It especially hurts after sitting lat night I thought I was thought to cry and wanted to go to the hospital it hurt so bad.
I appreciate the comments and info! :-)

Sounds like you're doing some of the things they would tell you in PT. The other for me was forcing my hips forward more. Then there were exercises where they would put something on my leg and I would have to do leg lifts and leg slides in repetition without dropping the item (most often is was a cell phone). I damaged my tail bone as a kid and wonder if that too could cause some of the issue. Would be worth a visit if your insurance would cover it. At least a couple times. Bring it up at your next dr visit.

I actually broke mine twice in high school so I always have pain but with each of my pregnancies the pain got more intense.
This is my third and I can barely walk sometimes let alone sit

Yes, I was the same way it hurts really bad. This may sound crazy but trying laying on the floor and putting your feet on the couch, also sleep with legs elevated at night like on 2 pillows. Also try to always wear a shoe with a thick some or heel on it. I hope it works for you. It worked for me to put me out of my misery.

Do you have J Lo booty? I actually had to do a couple visits to physical therapy to help. The small waist big hips and the curvw of my lower back caused issues. Things still bother me but I know how to handle them. Will help after baby too.

My tailbone has been bothering me before I got pregnant but when I sit on hard surfaces I can feel the ache then later I can barely walk.
