I am a high risk pregnancy. I know my doctors are pushing for a vaginal delivery. They are worried the c-section is too risky. Recovery, incision and stitches are risky. For me they are watching the baby grow. GD does cause larger babies in my case. I will likely be induced at 36 weeks for my safety and babies. Have they checked the size of your baby???

Im overweight 235 before baby. 13 weeks and high risk because of uterine didelphys. Which is having a double uterus and cervix. Baby only has half the space to grow

I'm overweight with high blood pressure so I'm high risk I'm opting for a c section just because  I have not push a baby out in over 13 years and anytime I'm in pain my blood pressure goes up so I figured I'll do a scheduled c section...... Don't know really just thinking

I'm high risk as well due to GD. They said as long as the baby doesn't get too large, I can have him vaginally. But at 23w1d, he was 1 lb 3 oz, so he is right on target. I am worried about them mentioning C-Section, praying that doesn't come up. I am sure though if they wanted you to have one, they would have mentioned it by now. Good luck hun. :) Try not to stress, your lo will be here soon. :D

I'm overweight as well but not considered high risk. Wonder why that is? My appointments go so quickly, I always forget to ask.

Is the baby very large? I'm high risk because I am diabetic before pregnancy. But I weighed 224 before pregnancy and now 232 I'm 32 weeks and it hasn't came up about a c section for me.
