I totally understand your pain. I have kidney stones in both of my kidneys and had to get a stent placed on the right side because I have a stone that is blocking so my kidney can't drain. I can't even get out of bed and do daily functions like cook and clean because of the pain. I've gone to the hospital and have been put on iv pain meds before to get the pain under conrol. I know what you mean about the not knowing if your having contractions or if it's just the pain. My bladder spasms with this stent in and I can't tell the difference at all. I'm 37 +3. You can always call your ob office and see what they say. Good luck

No go to the emergency room. They may be able to help you.  You have to go seek help for the pain.  Maybe they have something stronger,  or they may admit you. I have fibroids and I was having pains and they helped me out with the pain.  Then again yet applying icy hot where the pain is and hot towels for a little more comfort
