Hey ladies!! Just wondering if any of you ladies tested positive for strept b? I know you are given antibiotics when you're in labor and what not. Is it something to really worry about?thanks!

Yes every 4 hours. It can also make your baby more likely to catch a virus and it be worse then normal.

I'm positive and I'm worry too but doctor says they will have to give you antibodies during labor.I also heard that they have to do it every 4 hours I don't know if it's true. But just make sure you tell then in the hospital what you have so they can do something.Good luck with everything!!!!

I lost my daughter to strep b in November 14
I didn't know I had it
Make sure any sign of labour you go straight to hospital for antibiotics and be aware of signs

I had it with my first. It's no big deal as long as you get antibiotics.
