VBAMC, VBAC,HVAC,(vaginal birth after one or more c sections)  in Facebook is a really great group to join there are lots of ladies that have v bac after 3 4 even 5 or more all the time. And might could help you find someone in your area to help you.

Well I would at least set a meet and great with someone and talk everything over with them.  You will regret it if you dont at least ask questions and talk to a dr.  And unfortunately after 3 csections that will be your only option if you have another.  So just go talk to someone before making your decision.  Take your partner or whomever is supporting you with you and see your options.  Talk it over with that person and then make ur decision.  My personal advice.

33 due March 6th.  30 weeks is a hard point to switch but hey with my second I had to switch at 36 weeks so it happens.  Some doctors that allow single vbacs dont allow double so do make sure you are specifying its a double.  If you have a local university I would call them.  They have big and usually very well respected hospitals and the doctors also do research so mine not only is an ob but she also does vbac research and is so relaxed and honest about the whole thing that it makes me feel so much better.  Just remember if you do get your doctor to agree or switch doctors for you two to have trust in eachother.  You must deliver within a week of your due date and your labor can not go to long.  Your doctor will be reading you and if he/she feels things are getting iffy they will have to take you for a csection, and you have to prepare yourself with being ok with that.  I am setting short term goals.  My first goal is just feeling labor for the first time.  That may be all that happens but that is ok.

How far along are you? I would definitely think about switching doctors if your dr doesn't feel supportive even if they let you sign a consent form as they will still pressure you.  You need to feel supported.

Ya I did have to sign a consent form just stating I was informed of risks as my dr and I laughed because there are no csection consent forms, they are treated like an out patient thing, and there are risks to that as well since it is a major surgery...

I would research vbac doctors.  Many private practice doctors dont allow it.  I am going to a doctor at a local university that has complete staff in the hospital to handle me at all times if something happens.  I was pressured into my first csection for my first bc I was told she would be too big.  She ended up weighing less than they estimated.  Second I was told I had to have another it was state law...load of b.s..  Just do your research.  You could also call a local midwife office.  Midwives can't see you but they prolly know which offices allow vbacs and 2vbacs.  I am attempting a 2vbac, I am 33 weeks now.  I cannot explain how freeing it feels to have options.  Sure if baby is breech or doing come on her own I will need another csection but at least I am being given a chance.  They cannot give pitocin to induce bc it makes contractions more severe which increases chances of ripping.

Im being forced to have a second c-section as well! Im furious i dont get the chance to deliver vaginally. I really feel the c-section takes away from the mother and child. Im not sure what the law is regaurding this but i definently share your frustration! Its not fair.
