Itching.. Help?!

I've had horrible itching down there for a few days and it keeps getting worse. My OBGYN appointment isn't until Thursday so I have to find a way to relieve it even a small bit until then. (I tested positive for a bacterial infection but apparently medicine isn't helping all the symptoms.) My baby shower is Saturday so now I'm even more nervous about it. Is there any home remedies to relieve it? I've heard yogurt but that's it.

I have used Gold Bond cream for exterior itching before.  It worked when nothing else would.

If canesten or dakdakort isnt working then u cud try a cold flannel down there will reduce itching and swelling. Try n wear loose underwear and sleep bare to let the air circulate and if u can avoid sex. If that doesnt work contact ur doctor and talk with them on the phone if u cant get an appt. Good luck and hope u feel better soon its horrible but extremely common xx
