ouch my butts left cheek hurts

Seriously I'm getting really annoyed with this pain in my butts left cheek. Iv had it for a week now I dont know if its a pulled muscle or what I'm finding it hard to walk and sit. I actually screamed my head off today when I was about to sit on the couch it was soo painful I couldn't move for a while and I was in tears as I couldn't tolerate the pain. My both kids were there with me my 11yr old asked if he should call the ambulance.(bless him) I told my husband to massage it but it really didn't help. So I tried doing some stretches they didn't work either. Plz ladies any suggestion would b appreciated. Im 24 weeks. TIA

And if it is sciatica, the chiropractor can help with that too.

I would go to a chiropractor that specialize in pregnancy if that's available to you. They can work with the muscles as well as the bones, but I think the sensation in the muscles are caused by a misplacement of the bones, which can happen easily in pregnancy. If it's the bone, the longer you wait the longer the 'recovery' will be. The ligaments are so loose now so it can be stretch to a point where it can't get back to normal. For me, it didn't feel anything when the bone got out if it place it was after a couple of days when my muscles couldn't cope with it anymore that I started feeling sore in the muscles. I tried stretching, massage and yoga but it only got worse, because when the muscles softened nothing held it in place and the pain was unbearable!

@finurligaida when its really bad I feel it going down my leg I can't seem to walk to or sit a that time. My husband thinks its some kind of pulled muscle bcoz he had the same thing a few months ago. Should I wait for my midwife appt I have on Thursday or is it better to see the Gp. Dont know what to do.

I don't think it's siatica. I had the same kind of pain last week and with me my pelvis bone where twisted so I had to go and see a prenatal chiropractor. After a couple of adjustments it's back in place and I don't have any pain and can move around a lot more. Im 34 weeks. I think when you have the sistica it goes down one leg as well and doesn't just stay in the cheek.

I have that also.. It started with me when I was 16weeks then it stop when I went on light duty.. And now it has came back.. I'm 36weeks third baby and it is terrible.. I find that walking actually helps.. I went to the ER the other day because it was so bad,, they prescribed me flexceril which helped it a lot... It makes you very sleepy so I only took it twice being that I work and have two other kids... It has been a lot better though... Since then
