Leep procedure???

I had a LEEP done 2 years ago. I just found out Im pregnant after 3 long years of trying. Does having the LEEP done put me at a higher risk for miscarriage? Is there Anyone that has had a healty pregnancy after LEEP? Im so worried that something will go wrong. Im almost 5weeks and Ive been having some cramping but no bleeding.

I had one done after my daughter was born over 5 years ago. My doctor did cervical ultrasounds around the middle of my pregnancy for about 2 months with no change, so they stopped them. They watch you a little closer but that is not a bad thing. My due date is tomorrow if that makes you feel better. Good luck and congratulations

My Dr did not do my ultrasound at my first appointment, she looked at it said it looked good and scheduled the ultrasound. The nice thing is you get to see three baby a lot more often, which for me helps with my nerves.

I have had a leep, I'm also 5 weeks, my Dr saw me last week and scheduled an ultrasound this week. She informed me I am going to have a lot more ultrasounds than normal because they want to watch the cervix to make sure it doesn't thin. If it does thin they will stitch it shut. I would make sure to call and make your appointment when you do tell them you need tobe seen earlier because you had the leep. I had mine 6 yrs ago, the Dr said my chance of miscarriage is the same as anyone, but if we don't watch it pre term labor chance increases.
