Lost my mucus plug

I'm 35w2d and I just lost my mucus plug. I'm freaking out. I'm a FTM and I'm not ready for him to be here yet! I don't feel contractions (I don't think) but I'm a little panicky. How long after losing your mucus plug does the baby come?

Update: I'm feeling a sharp pain in my upper abdomen (like gas pains). We are timing them but I don't know if it's contractions or not

Could be days, could be weeks. If you're not having contractions, you should be fine.
