When to tell people you're pregnant?

Hello,  when is it a good time to let people know about the baby?  I am about 8 weeks.

I told everyone when I was 9 weeks,  unfortunately I miscarried a week later.  I just found out im pregnant again so im going to wait till atleast first trimester is over ;) I hope this helps you,  congrats ;)

It depends on situation. My dr told me I had to tell my work before I was ready bc I work in pharmacy and there are lots of drugs I cant touch while pregnant. tell family and friends when u want. Anytime ia ok aa long aa its right for u

I waited til after a couple of appointments to make sure I was okay but that's only because I've had 2 miscarriages already. This one now will be the first one that's stayed. Since I'm in my second trimester I figured I was okay to start tellng everyone.

If you want to let your immediate family know already for support I think that's fine. Just watch out for those people that might be skeptical and make you feel scared during your first trimester. Some people will share their bad experiences and make you feel paranoid. I wish I would've waited to tell my in-laws and some co-workers later.

A friend of mine told everyone at 4 weeks. Lost the baby at 6 weeks. Maybe wait till the second trimester.

Its all about when you are comfortable. My fiances family knew when I was around 7 weeks. My friends knew around 14/15 weeks, and I didn't tell my family until I was nearly 20 weeks.

I told my mom and my bd mom when we found out then they told everybody before i could i was going to wait until my first appt. (im 25weeks 4days)

This is our first baby and we were just too excited,  we told our whole immediate family.

I am so nervous now so just praying that everything goes well.

I'm going to try to wait til the end of the first trimester for most people. That being said, I couldn't help but tell a few people already. I was just too excited. Just remember that if there are any complications, they're more likely to happen in the first trimester, that's why people wait to make an official announcement. But go with whatever you feel!

Whenever you feel most comfortable. some like to wait till after the heartbeat is seen on an ultrasound others wait till after 1st trimrster, 13 weeks. Either way works!! Congratulations!!
