cervical pain??

This is my 2nd baby, and for the last two days I've been having very sharp pains deep inside ...well I'm assuming my cervix. It feels like I was stabbed....mostly when I walk around or sit on something hard like a bench or whatever. I looked it up, and a lot of ladies said this could be what a changing cervix feels like. I never dialated w/ my 1st so this would be new territory for me. Could this be the baby's head engaging? I have an appointment Monday....should I mention it to the Dr? Its SO uncomfortable....and I'm sure it's normal, but ugh!

I had that pain with my first pregnancy. It was for the last 8 weeks or so. I thought at times I would find a hand or something down there. I asked my doctor and she just said it was b/c she was just dropping stretching etc...I never had any problems other than the pain and I was induced on my due date. Sorry I know that doesn't help much.

It never hurts to ask your Dr!! Your pelvic floor muscles are weaker the 2nd time, which might be why you are feeling so much pressure, but they can check you n ease your mind or take care of any issues

I would definitely ask your Dr.,this is my 2nd also&I haven't felt that but I've had pains,my Dr said it was my insides just expanding&growing.Sometimes I have to stop what I'm doing&stand still a minute or two, because my abdomen tightens&feels like my baby stretches completely out.
