Membrane sweep
Hi all I'm just checking if anyone had a successful sweep at 38 weeks? I am due to get one on Tues but have no idea as to whether or not they will be able to do it due to position of cervix and if they can will it even work! How long do they make u wait if it doesn't work first time around?
From what my OB told me there isn't any reason they can't do it, it's more painful sometimes depending on babies position but still doable.
I don't know how 'well' it works but it wa any first and took 10 days for me to go into labor afterwards. My OB said it 'can' help but it's right up there with having sex and all the other tricks it only works IF your body and baby are ready.
