I would wait until the miscarriage period has passed. Wait until your at least 13 weeks.
I say wait for the perfect moment. Let your sister have the spotlight for a couple more weeks that way when you announce the attention will be all yours.
Maybe get a cousin onsie for the new baby as a Christmas gift.
Christmas go for it. It's a gift I am sure they would love! My sister in law told everyone right as I was going in to have my first like 30 min before I went to the hospital for an inducement she had known for a few weeks at this point ... That was rude. Giving them a week is just fine. They should be happy for you and you can't help when you find out.
Thank you all for your feedback. I really appreciate it very much. I kind of enjoy having this good news secret, just waiting for the perfect moment to share it with friends and family. What's even better is, they keep asking "when are you gonna pop one out" and things of that nature, since I am significantly older than my sibling, little do they know... There's so many reasons to be excited right now. Thank you all again. Merry Christmas/Happy New Year and everything in between :)
I don't think telling people will steal anyone's spot light they have a new baby that is a big spot light it cannot be taken easily
Valentines day...you'll be out of your 1st trimester
I would announce at about 12 weeks ..
Wait until after the new year. Let them have their spotlight. My sis in law announced she was pregnant the day I was induced. So the family was more excited for her and my daughter's birth was more of a side note.
I would probably let them have their moment at Christmas and announce on New years. But if you don't want to wait I'm sure they'll be thrilled for your baby too
