Mucus Plug

I lost part of my mucus plug at 21 weeks and had no problems after. Now at 25 I've been losing it throughtout the day this time some parts had a little blood. At first I had no cramps so I wasn't worried but as the day goes on I'm having more and more cramping. How do you tell the difference between cramping and contractions? Not sure if I should be worried or not.

I would go in now.... when I have contractions sometimes I can't tell the diffrence but if your losing your mucus.plug and having them you need to go in and make sure they aren't changing your cervix... good luck

I'm 25 weeks today. My doctor has been checking me regularly for preterm labor bc I'm high risk for it.  I spoke with her early before the cramps started and she said I will continue to loose it through out the day and to pay attention for contractions. I'm just confused if I'm having just normal cramping or contractions.
