Need advice if to go get checked

First of all I am on the 17p shot. Currently 33 weeks and days. The past two days I have been feeling sick. First started with horrible contractions and diarrhea cramps(with no actuall diarrhea) after hours it stopped and today I overall feel sick. Like feverish but I dont have fever.. I do feel pressure at times. I feel nauseated and my belly hurts like all around. Should this be cause to concern?? I only ate once today.. I dont have an appetite to eat and I do currently feel a dry mouth but I cant get myself to drink or eat cause I feel ill.. I have been losing my mucous plug for a while now. No blood yet tho. I was also diagnosed with low red blood cells..dont know exactly what that means until I get that rechecked..idk if that has something to do with anything..

Hello ladies!! Sorry I took long to reply. An update. I am in the hospital as I type this!! I chose to wait and see my doctor today Monday and was told that my cervix is open and Im 3cm!! They are tryna to stop contractions and further dilation. I'm worried hopefully things turn out good. Im getting magnesium in large dosage and steroid shot.

U should get check I remember feeling like that went to the hospital and check then find out that labor was coming on

17p is a progesterone shot, also known as Makena.  It is administered, in my case, weekly to prevent pre term labor.  It's prescribed when there is a risk of pre term labor.  In my case, my first baby was born at 25 weeks.  I got 21 shots.

How did it go? Did they figure out what was causing the pain?
And what is a 17p shot? I have never recieved no shotd and im 37 weeks pregnant...

I just got my last 17p shot last week.  I've had other side effects but not what you describe. I hope everything is okay.

Thank you for replying. I will be going today to get checked because it really is concerning me that I have too much pain especially on my lower abdomen and I keeping getting belly tightening.. Hurts to even stay up or be laying down and I feel so sick that I dont even have an appetite...

Yes, get checked.  None of those are listed side effects of 17p, but it does sound like preterm labor.
