Manudabas82-people will say ask a doctor. I had to get X-rays while pregnant & the tech told me a standard X-Ray isn't enough radiation to harm the baby but just have the belly covered anyways.

If it's your 1st pregnancy most doctors will
Encourage you to push. But remember ladies the doctor works for YOU. If you want a c-section request it. Discuss heal time, proper care & the risks.

I prefer c-sections. For me I healed faster. I've done both. That's my personal experience.

I need to ask if it is ok to go for a Chest Xray during pregnancy. My wife is 22 weeks pregnant. We have applied for a Visa which requires a medical examination including a Chest Xray. So, wanted to be sure if it is safe before we go ahead with the Xray. Please advise

Thanks
Manu

This is my second second pregnancy. I had an emergency C section with my first. My OB said I'm a good canidate for a Vbac, but I can choose to deliver either way.  If I do have a c-section it will be at 39 weeks. So I believe you can request to have a csection.

As previously stated if uve a cectiont already I see no reason y u cnt request another. A repeat csection is how it goes most of the time anyway unless u want otherwise. Wheret I live they dnt even do VBAC (vaginal birth after csection) anymore.

hi Hun I don't know where abouts you are but I don't see why you shouldn't be able to discuss with your Dr about wanting another c section I spoke to mine about fears after my last labour turned into an emergency section after 70 hrs I explained how terrified I was of this happening again he said there's no reason I had to try and persuade him it was my decision don't know if I've helped but you can always ask and if you have reasons I don't see why not let me know you get on xx
