Question about baby movement

Hey Mamas,
So im on my third kid so I feel kinda stupid asking this but is it normal to feel the baby kind of more shifting around rather than serious kicking? I'm 31 weeks by the way. I mean she has her moments when she's really kicking away but more often than not its more her shifting around. Putting pressure on my ribs.... lol or my bladder. .. I guess I just felt with my boys there was a whole lot more "donkey kicking" type stuff. They are 5 and 7 now though and so im not sure I remember it clearly.

Thank you for posting this up because I had the same question. Most of the time I feel my baby girl shifting or turning. Just so often she would kick but not as much as I expected. Plus I'm a ftm so I was a bit concern.

Its completely normal. This far along they have less room so most of their movements are more shifting than kicking
