I don't drink milk, because I dont like it. But take calcium supplements on top of my prenatal vitamins to make sure I am getting enough.
Lactaid milk is awesome. I get the calcium enriched one. My hubby is super allergic to milk so we always go with alternatives, and there are just some things you cant cook with almond/soy/rice/or coconut milk...
I drink the lactaid milk. And cook with it. Helps alot. I don't take the pill just switched my milk.
Drink almond milk..it won't make you gassy and still get a lot of vitamins and protein.
Almond breeze is good. I love it. My son does too plus it doesn't have extra calories and it has iron and added calcium.
I think you can have lactaid wic offers you that kinda milk if you can't handle regular milk
If you are lactose intolerant you can get your calcium from supplements so you aren't required to drink milk or eat dairy.
I'm not sure, you should ask a doctor about that. Why do you need to drink milk anyway? If it's for the calcium why can't you take supplements? If it has to be milk, you might try goat milk. It's really expensive and not always pasteurized so I don't know if that's really an option, but I know some people who can't drink cow milk but are fine with goat milk.
