Oj and milk

So I've read about this mixture several times on this app and I'm 37 weeks and ready to meet my Princess in 1cm dialated and 50% effaced and ready to try a natural way to induce how many mommies have tried this and what was your outcome?

Like all midwifes say.... Nothing will make baby come if baby isn't ready other them a medical intervention. Baby will come your body will work you just need to enjoy you last days of being pregnant soon you'll be a mommy!!!

I read that you mix 1/2 cup of oj and half of whole milk and drink it once a day that due to the high ph in one and low ph in the other is what makes it work I don't know I'm just curious if it actually works

I never heard of this....this is a very typical drink in the Dominican republic. Yum, but never heard of it having an effect on inducing labor. In any case if you do want to try it, make sure both the milk and the o.j. are very very cold, lots of ice so the milk won't curdle. Even better if you use evaporated milk, but regular milk will do. Or go to a Dominican restaurant they know how to make it really good. =)

Im on the same boat as you but I have never heard of oj and milk. What do they say to do? Im mexican and my aunts and mom have told me of herbal teas.

Someone just introduced this to me as well on here. I was asking about castor oil and they said try this
It sounds like it would curdle to me?!?
