My little one also couldnt wear huggies after newborn size as they exploded up the back so be careful buying all one brand too. Hard to plan ahead!
My 2 year old is still wearing a 3! I also found that walmart will return unopened boxes without a receipt so you can exchange them for a bigger smaller size if need be
Yes I kept all my receipts and taped them to the packages. Problem is were moving cross country right after our baby is born and some of the diapers were bought at stores that we don't have where were going. Were going to try to use those diapers first to avoid waste!
Most stores will allow you to exchange unopened packages.
Thank you! I'm hoping that I can start potty training around a year. Both my husband and I were at a year!
I go thru sizes 4 & 5 like crazy!! I'd suggest getting some of those. Unless u are just stocking for the first year. I'd start with 1 2 & 3 I didn't really get to a four till he was closer to 12 mo. Every child is different tho. Good job on your stock pile so far. I never did it with my first but I'm deff thinking about it now! :-) ♥
I will go look at their website now! Thank you!
I f u go to babies r us.com they should have a count of what's a good start on each size. If u can't find it look in baby registry area. If u still can't find it let kbow and I'll look for paper that was given to me with amounts on it when I did my registry. If i ever correctly size 1 had 500 and something but not completely sure
he does have problems gaining weight, though...
my second skipped through size threes and has been in fours for ten months (he's 16 months now). my oldest has been in size fours for over a year!
Oh wow I didn't think I would need 800 size 1s! I read babies aren't in size 2 for long, but size 3 the longest. I've read so many blogs, I just wanted advice from already mommies.
I used size NB and 2's the longest with both my kids...but they were little babies... But most use size 3 the longest
I could be wrong, but I've read you would need roughly 800 size 1. That's based on 10 diapers a day, the first two months, which is typical. Then drop to 550 size 2. After that, depending on weight gain, 1500 size 3 to get you through the rest of the year plus some. Again, just what I read from a popular mommy blog! :)
But i know your gonna mainly need 3- 4-5 so get more of those than anything
Sounds good to me.!! I have
3000 wipes
56 newborn
400sumthin 1s
And just started on 2 but got 150 of those so far
My son wore newborn for 2 weeks... We has so many to return. Nb are a not really needed if you have a 8pound or bigger baby. My son was 9lb 7oz
But if ypur baby is 8lbs or more newborns wont even fit...
But i do think nb uses a bunch and i mean a bunch ,they get dirty diaper more often
Yeah size 3 and up are the ones you would use longer
