Pain in the hips

I am almost 23 weeks pregnant and my hips have really started hurting. Isnt too early for them to begin spreading?

Just wait it only gets worse. Sleep will be very difficult towards the end. Stretching helps, and light exercise. Just take it easy!

Thank you to everyone that responded. I was afraid that maybe I was just being a big baby. Now I know this is a normal part of pregnancy.

Mine are only sore at night. I've been using a body pillow, but it wasn't enough. Some people suggested adding another pillow because of the spreading of the hips. It helps, but rotating from side to side is a pain.

Not too early mine started before that.....try sleeping on the opposite side with a pillow in between your knees...it took a couple of days of sleeping like that and mine has stopped.  :) best of luck!
