Omg that is terrible! I hope their feet smelled like at cat pee for months!
I completely understand! Mine and my sister's bikes were stolen from our yard when we were young.
Also, two years ago when I was about 7 months pregnant in June my cat peed on about 5 pairs of my shoes. My hubby was working about 3 hours away for a few months, so I was living alone at the time. I threw the shoes in the washing machine and then lined them up on the fenced in and gated front porch. I left for less than an hour only about 10 blocks away & they were gone when I got back. I broke the lock on the gate because I slammed it so hard. I called my hubby bawling because I had to wear closed toe shoes to work and only had about two pairs left & they weren't dressy at all. He could barely understand me & kept telling me to calm down. I was so angry & so upset... The hormones just don't help in these kind of situations! But seriously, who steals an obviously pregnant woman's shoes right off of the porch!
My girls bikes have been found! Unfortunately the kids who stole them sprayed them black. My husband called me and said his boss told him to go out to his truck to get some waters and when he got out there he saw two brand new bikes. I can't believe he did that for my girls. I cried when he told me. One sense I'm angry with the society we live in and then with his bosses good deed it shines a light on the fact that there are still amazing people in this world!!!!
Im sorry to hear that, You should also stamp your name on the bikes, if they are found you can easily claim them...at hardware stores they sell this long pipe like tools that have a letter/number on the ends you simple stamp it on the bike with a hammer and then apply clear nail polish
Sounds like very good ideas! Thank you:)
My husband is building a shed with chain & lock & we just got a dog to. We also put a lock on our fence we keep it locked when we know we will be out all day & lock at night to. I hope your girls get there bikes back good luck.
People are just heartless. In a sense I feel bad for those kids. The fact they feel the need to steal from others is quite sad! If we do get the bikes back we plan on buying chains with locks.
I understand how you feel. It happend to my son he was 5 at the time it was his first bike & some heartless thief stole my babys bike I was so sad & angry to see my son so sad how could anyone hurt a child in any way. Now he is 8 & has a little brother who is 5 & both want a bike for Christmas. My husband &I plan on getting them but would hate for the same thing to happen again.
