Passing out

Anyone 3rd trimester blacking out or almost passing out? It happens to me almost daily. My doctor didn't seem to concerned once she ruled out preeclampsia, but then again she doesn't seem concerned by much.  She told me to drink a Gatorade a day and up my protein.

Hmm, it seems to happen after being on my feet for periods of time or being active. Seems my little one wants me to do nothing but sit on my rear and eat! I had big issues with uncontrolled asthma during my 2nd Tri and they put me on a corticosteroid inhaler which was a pregnancy class C medication :( but they said the benefits outweighed the risks especially as I was heading into my 3rd. So I wonder if oxygen has something to do with it like some of you said. I breathe much better now but I've had a cough my entire pregnancy.

I use to get like that a lot but I'm animic once they upped my iron intake it doesn't happen as much and when it does its far less extream. You might want them to check out iron next time your there or try eating things high in iron to help. Like red meats (cooked throughout) liver (also cooked) or my favorite is Cherry's.
Hope this helps and hope you feel better. :)

i get that everyday.. im 10 weeks 4 days.. i even passed out while at a grocery with my 4 year old daughter.. she was so scared.. my doctor said it was because of lack of oxygen and to put my head down if i felt lightheaded.. do a crawling like position with my head down so in case i passed out again i wont have to hit my head.. she said that our bodies are changing during pregnancy and our babies get half of the oxygen we take.. she also mentioned taking deep breathing exercises, and drink alot of water.. it could also be a cause of dehydration..

Yep it started in early pregnancy. I can't walk for more then 10 minutes. If I stand in one place I get light headed and an overwhelming feeling so I sit wherever I can to avoid passing out. They said its common so I had to deal with it this whole pregnancy. I put myself on bedrest cuz it got so bad that even while sitting I got dizzy.

It's happened to me twice at work at 13 weeks. Nothing since.  I started wearing compression stocking while on my feet at work..... they help for sure.

You might want to get a second opinion. I don't think that's normal. I know of you hand low blood sugar it can cause the passing out. Are you eating enough food during the day?? Make sure you are staying will hydrated and eating a snack entry couple hours.
