Pelvic and back pain

26 weeks pregnant with my first, man am I in pain. I'm really petite and have been experiencing really bad back and pelvic pain. Sometimes, I wake up during the night in tears. I sometimes can't walk for long periods of time and need to sit down. I feel like such a complainer, but I'm really not sure how women make it all the way to the end. I could really use some tips or just kind words or thoughts. I'm feeling pretty emotional today. Thanks guys.

I'll have to talk to the doctor about SPD. I looked it up and that sounds like exactly what I have. I know I shouldn't Google symptoms lol but that makes more sense. Thanks guys.

Sounds like SPD. I have it as well. Take some Tylenol and find a pregnancy support band that will help stabilize your pelvis. It won't help immediately, but helps decrease the amount of pain after you wear it for a couple of days. Also try to stay off your feet as much as possible and take it easy. It gets worse when you overdo it during the day

Ya,sometimes it hurts to put a pillow between my legs at night. Some days are a lot better than others though. I tried to explain to my husband that I just ache between my legs and he doesn't really understand. I have an OB appointment later today so I will bring it up with the doctor. Everyone just says there is nothing you can really do. I just didn't expect it to hurt his much right now.

Honestly? This is going to sound crazy. But I've had pelvic and back pain like crazy during this pregnancy and when I spend time off of work and out shopping, walking or sledding I'm actually less sore at night and walking the next morning.

Also it was bad at night trying to turn over with the pelvic pain. But it went away for me after a while. A few weeks or so. Hope I helped.

I was the same way around 26 wks. It hurt to walk. And I did cry more than once because of it. I'm not petite tho. Lol but I imagine its the same either way.I basically just tried to walk through the pain. Or just try relaxing with your feet up.
