Please respond

I bought some gloss paint to gloss the skirting boards in the downstairs..i started yesterday and then suddenly wasn't sure I was supposed to..I am 13 weeks 2 days...and I don't have a partner or anyone to ask to do it. What I have read says solvent or lead based paints are dangerous. I wouldn't be so worried if it was emulsion but this is a thick paint that you need to use paint remover to get paint off brushes. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to whats allowed..can u paint if you wear a mask for example? Thankyou Mummys :)

If you must I'd say ask a neighbor. Unless you bought the expensive low VOC paint than I'd say don't risk it
