Pre term contractions

Just left labor and delivery for pre term contractions
I'm 35 weeks they hooked me up to the monitor and I'm contracting about every 5 minuets but they send me home because I'm not dialiated and only 50% effaced has anyone else gotten contractions this early ?? When did you deliver your lo?

I am 24 weeks & found out I was having contractions last week when I was 23 weeks but my cervix was still closed & looked normal so they sent me home. I am too worried she may come too early.

They possibly kept you because you are still in your early stages of pregnancy. They want to get your body prepare just in case the baby comes early

I don't understand either.. They are painful also although I have not lost my plug

This is my 4th day in hospital with preterm labour. I was 27+3 when it started, lost mucus plug, contractions every 3mins. I'm on a whole heap of drugs to try to control it and prepare baby, they've stopped it twice in 4 days. Cant help wonder why they sent you home and not me?
