Hi please help me, I'm 26.5week pregnant & I had e-coli, my doc gave me 5 courses of antibiotics, 1 after another! He kept saying I was fine but I knew something wasn't right, turns out it's a yeast infection, what do I do now? Could this have harmed my babie? The symptoms have never changed so I think I've had it all my pregnancy. Please help me, I don't know if I need 2 go see my GP or what, is it dangerous? Any help/advice is very much appreciated, many thanks
I doubt the doc would give you meds that are unsafe for the baby. I would go see your doc to get something for the infection that can be dangerous for the baby. You can also use regular monistat but if you've had it 5 wks I'd be going in
If is a yeast infection don't take nothing with out ur Dr okaying it. I did research and there are some over the counter medication that can cause birth defects. So just run it be your gp to be safe. I had a test infection n my Dr prescribed me something different. good luck
