Progesterone in first trimester

Hi All,

I just found out this week I am pregnant, apparently 4 weeks and 3 days to be exact.

History: 1 miscarriage 2010 @ 8 weeks (all natural)
2nd miscarriage 2013 @ 10 weeks (fertomid for 2mnths).
2015 January diagnosed hypothyroidism,  started Euthyrox 75mg,& Pregnenolone 60mg. Levels improving slightly over the months.  Doing blood tests every 6 weeks or so.

Was late this week and yes instincts were right. Phoned gynae seeying him for first appt on Wednesday next.  Phoned my endocrinologist about my current meds and he advised that I leave the pregnenolone immediately and start progesterone Cyclogest 200mg once  a night vaginally and also to increase my Euthyrox to 125mg.

My question here is, am I on the right track?  Have I started this process too late?  How good is progesterone for the first trimester. I hope the pregnenolone didn't do damage and that my baby can actually develop healthy even while being hypo... (first pregnancy to try progesterone)

It will be a dream come true if I can make it past the first tri. We cannot actually get or feel excited yet because we so worried for that feeling of disappointment.

Any suggestions will be more than welcome.

Current symptoms : extreme bloatness at times,  constipation,  very tired,  urination countless times, sore breast,  strong smell. No nausea really.

Thanks for reading

Thanks for sharing ladies and I wish you all the best.  Please keep me posted with your progress.  I do hope I started it early enough and that all will be healthy with my first scan.  Let's hope and pray.  The progesterone tends be to quite messy down there.  Do you know how long it takes to disolve as I pee constantly,  just scared I let it go to waste.  First one done last night

I miscarried last year I started progesterone at 5 weeks and I'm now 26 weeks today I took it orally though not sure it really matters. I do believe it helps a lot. I'm now on shots because my first born was at 32 weeks whole other issue. This time around I do have thyroid problem like you I'm on levothyroxine fifty mg and I have levels check every 4-6 weeks so far no change in dose and I hear is safe in pregnancy. I also started it at 5 weeks I didn't have it before so I so have any advice on that
