Getting induced early due to baby not growing

My due date is 1/30 but my doctor wants to induce me sooner.  First she talked about 1/12 now it's 1/19. Baby isn't growing anymore.  Her vitals and movement is still good which is why she is waiting another week but she says she isn't waiting any longer than that. She called it Intrauterine growth restriction.  Anybody heard of this and anybody go through this? Were your babies born healthy?

Thank you silvababy4. It helps knowing that someone else was diagnosed and had healthy babies.  This is my third child and it's the first time I've even heard of this.

He might be concerned if your fundal measurment is smaller then how many weeks you are pregnant.   If your 32 weeks then your fundal height should be 32cm.   For most people anyhow.   I measure small and still have healthy children.  Im not sure why it is like that for me....   my OB says i have good adominal muscles holding them in.

My doctor wants to have me do another ultra sound at 32 weeks to check the babies growth. He didn't mention this as a concern but I know it's not normal, could he be concerned I have this?
