Sadness

I'm so overwhelmed. I've lost a lot of friends since becoming pregnant and also found out my fiancé was cheating and I left him. He's been nothing but a nuisance to me. After leaving him I ended up having to live with family and in exchange for living here I have to watch two young kids that are nothing but a headache. I'm 28 weeks. I've stayed really active throughout my pregnancy (running) and I still get extremely tired. I feel so depressed with everything going on and I can't find a happy place or somewhere safe to express myself to relieve the stress. This is my first little angel and I just want to enjoy it but it seems like no one cares. I'm so scared I'm going to make my baby sad. The only support I have is my parents and they live 4 hours away. I guess I'm just looking for advice on managing the stress and being less sad with all these hormonal changes too.

My friends got really distant during my first pregnancy too.  They know you can't do as much and once the baby arrives, they are afraid to disturb you. Be patient w them, and like the above comment, try to find groups of other moms.

Birthing class was awesome for making friends. Most hospitals offer them free and it's a place to be able to open up to others who are going through the same thing.

Thank you for your advice. I probably have been isolating myself it will probably help a lot by finding new people to relate to.
