Scary night!

Went to the ER for stomach tightness and right side pain. Turns out i had 4 small contractions but cervix test was negative for preterm labor. Turns out i have a UTI. Such a scary scary night. Still makes me worried but knowing my babygirl is okay makes it alot better. Anyone elae go thru something like this? Ill b 26 weeks friday

Sometimes when yu have infections like that they can cause contractions,, i went thru it when i was prego with my 3rd child i had gal bladder issues which towards then end of my pregnancy made me think i was in active labor but when i went to the hospital turns out it was due to my gal bladder..

I uaually have stomach tightness too. It doesent come and go it just stays but for some reason I was worried this time!

Stomach tightening is usually BH. You should be concerned if they become regular (5 minutes apart). And trust me when I say....BH can be painful :/. If you have pains that are concerning always give them a call. Mine ended up being round ligament pain and I actually passed out from it once earlier on. I think the fact I worked out a lot on my core pre pregnancy had a lot to do with it being more painful because the muscles were tighter and had to stretch more...and I went from no belly to belly over night. Weird things happen in pregnancy...when in doubt...always call!!

Good to hear your baby is fine. Isn't stomach tightness normal in pregnancy I normally get that an I'll b 27 weeks Friday. I normally feel the tightness in my abdomen and left side of my stomach. Should I b worried
