Scheduling a C-Section

How far in advance did you or have you ladies been able to schedule your c-section?

I was still in denial, so I made my doctor wait and I didn't schedule until I was 37 weeks. (After I made him do another ultrasound to make sure my placenta hadn't moved.) I had my csection at 39.5 weeks.

Talk to your doctor and let her know your concerns about the baby and your insurance and hopefully they can work with you.

Awesome! Hopefully I can get mine scheduled at my next appt. I'm just worried because I'll be quitting in May and my due date is May 29th but my insurance will go thru the end of the month. I'm just praying all works out for my family.

My doc scheduled mine tentatively at 8 weeks. He said we can change it when it gets closer if need be, but to know that baby will be here by then at the latest :)

I scheduled mine 2 weeks in advance, only because my baby is breech and doc says 95% she won't turn.  Csection on the 26th, so anxious!
