Sex after delivery.

Well In my opinion I don't think you should have sex atleast for the first 3 weeks or atleast until you stop bleeding. How long do you other mommies wait until you start back having sex with your mate?!

With my first I seriously waited over a year... was scared to ddeath.. this time I'll probably go 3 months, 6 if I can lol I want to be COMPLETELY back to normal down there.. my boyfriend is going to hate me (:

We waited 2 or 3 weeks and it was fine, I insisted we used lube, which helped alot. We took it easy and by the next time it felt normal again, just a little tighter.

We normally have sex the day I get home from hospital... my last I had at birthing center so I was home same day and we had sex same day...

I waited 3 weeks and my body was back to normal and I had a csection..I didn't bleed cramp or anything after sex and now I'm 8 months pregnant again 4 years later

I waited eight weeks and it still hurt. But with each time ot slowly got better. I always felt like one of my stitches didn't devolve so that caused my issues.

My oldest I had vaginal and started about 3 weeks later. But after my c section I waited 6-7weeks

We started at 3 1/2 weeks, I'm now 5 weeks past and it still hurts at first. I had a C section for failure to progress. We had sex before the 6 weeks because it was our anniversary. To me I just feel raw down there.

With each of mine I bled for two weeks after and started having sex around the same time.

With my first pregnancy I stopped bleeding at 4 weeks and that is when I did it but it was extremely painful. I would recommend waiting the full 6 weeks

I waited til 6 weeks and even then I could have waited a little longer lol. Everything was still sore and when we did have sex it hurt bad probably the first 4 or 5 times and then I bled a little bit too. I think it's because when I tore a little after delivery and the area where stitches had been was still very tight and newly healed skin.

I have to wait 6 weeks. My doctor said no exceptions. Even if I stop bleeding he said it's not worth the risk. Your cervix is still opened and you are really prone to infection and repeat pregnancy.

I waited till like 1 day before the 6 six weeks. And it didn't go very well it but I was very uncomfortable my husband felt really bad. I did have a csection maybe that made it worse Idk.
