I want to know the name of the meds the doctor gave you for a UTI and how weeks were you ?

Cranberry juice helps a lot too ladies!! Water it down a bit though but use it I highly recommend.

I have a uti right now 10 weeks. The dr. Prescribed me nitrofurantoin monohydrate/ macrocrystals (lol) 100mg 2/day for 5 days

I haven't had a uti while pregnant. Are you concerned it isn't the right one? I'm a nurse, if you tell me what he/she gave you I can tell you if (to my knowledge) if its common and what class of is... also look into cranberry juice or pills. I used to get utis all the time to the point where my urine was like coke a cola and the pills have helped a lot

I was 24 weeks with my first UTI.... ghe 1st medication didnt work but the 2nd did... I dont remember what it was called but I was on it for 10 days... its important to get it treated because it can cause preterm labor
