Spotting and passing clots during pregnancy

I posted on here a couple of months ago and am still having the same problem.  Right after I found out I was pregnant two months ago, I started passing bright red blood, but just spotting.  It rarely ever makes it to my underwear, but is there when I wipe.  I had two transvaginal ultrasounds at six weeks.  I have heard the baby's heartbeat twice since then (last time was yesterday) and I am now 14 1/2 weeks.  My doctor put me on pelvic rest back at six weeks and since I have been spotting every five or six days, my husband and I have chosen to keep me on pelvic rest.  I don't do anything overly strenuous, just light housework.  Today I was cleaning the kitchen (dishes, sweeping, mopping, dusting, etc.) and just a few minutes ago, I had some more spotting and there were two small clots (the blood is bright red).  My doctor says not to stress out over it too much unless I bleed so much that I have to wear a pad and actually change to a second one.  Has anyone else had this problem?  Any suggestions or comments?  This is my third pregnancy and I am 38.  My last child was born almost eight years ago and this one was unplanned.  I was taking Orthotricyclen when I got pregnant and took it daily up until I found out I was pregnant, basically at 5 1/2 weeks.

I just found out I am pregnant, and am about 4 wks in, but I started spotting earlier today.  It went away, but at the moment has come back and I passed a clot.  I'm really worried, but am glad to know i'm not the only one.  I called the place to set up my first apointment and they said if it gets worse and is followed with cramps then to call back and they'd see me immediately.

my partner and i have been trying for a family for around 4 months now..i had been getting all the signs sore boobs, cronic heartburn, urinating ALOT and wanting strange foods... i really thought i was pregnant up untill today i got brown discharge and now has turned to a period and cramping we were very dissapointed :( i took a test and said negative... was it just wishful thinking? or could i be pregnant?

Hi everyone!the month of october I ddnt get my period and on sat. The 29th I started spotting brown sunday too then on monday I started bleeding and I was cramping really bad when I went to the restroom I passed a large clot! Today is wednesday the 2nd and I havnt spoted yet can I B pregnant! I took a pregnancy test on friday the 28th and it came out negative!

OMG! I am going through the same thing exactly! No spotting before the ultrasound now I am and very scared. I too was taking Orthotricyclen and I am 39 years old third pregnancy. Never had spotting with my first two.    Carmon

Hey guys I wanted someone to help me out or if anyone else has been thru this. Me & my bf had intercourse and after I noticed I was bleeding and a blood colt had passed but the bleeding only last for that one night I'm freaking out
