Still waiting. .
I am 33 weeks.. I haven't bought anything, I am not prepared at all. I just don't feel the urge to start shopping and preparing yet.. when will it finally kick in? I feel like i am waiting for that moment, when i start shopping, nesting, and getting all ready. Everyone thinks i am strange. Any ideas on what will help me? Lol
I will look into online shopping.. sounds easier! @rourou you are so lucky... I feel so stressed thinking about how unprepared I am. Lol but I'm happy for you congrats :) I'll definitely get on it soon.

Wow! This post makes me feel better somehow..I am 32 weeks and I started nesting since I was 12 weeks,ordering his nursery painting, changing furniture, new kitchen, new hardwood floor! Lool! I am not having a baby shower, so I bought everything myself, the onyly two things missing are a stroller and the monitor and I feel so stressed that I might not be ready!! Lool

I shopped online. I have only been in the store once. Just lightheaded all the time to walk around. Got some great deals on clothes and free shipping if u spend $50 OR more. So compared prices and bought just what i need. After he gets here guess i can get more stuff if needs be.
With my first I waited too...then at 35 weeks I had an emergency c - section. I had nothing and missed both my showers. That was 9 years ago. This time around my goal.is by Jan to have at least the essential things

I didn't start nesting seriously until work 34, then BAM! I put the entire crib and dresser together, bit by bit all myself... and stained the rocking chair, washed all his baby clothes and blankets!
Earlier though bought a travel stroller, with the carseat/ carrier. And a pack and play pen, only because I saw they were having a good deal at Walmart LOL but didn't set them up for months after.
I cleaned the whole house at few weeks ago and the garage, and did all the yard work haha
I think it was the baby shower that started it all for me!!
made me feel like I ran into a glass door! I was like crap, this baby is coming whether I am ready or not! And I am a FTM so I had to get everything ready asap. I am now week 36 and almost done! You have time! You just got to start doing a little at a time!
Have your mom or sister or friend help you get the ball rolling! Go look at items, then look up ratings on them to make sure they are good, and then once you buy something you will want to get more! Promise.

I'm 23 weeks and I have the erge to go buy everything but I'm having a baby shower in December. I have the money put up for everything. But I still want to buy everything and everyone is telling me to wait
I'm 36 w and I just started getting stuff this is my 3rd baby my hardest pregnancy this little boy really drain me....I don't even have a baby bag yet smh I'm moving like a snail
no energy huh? baby shower helped alot i didnt have energy for that but it was worth it. i didnt get everything i meeded but most of it. i still need a carseat and stroller :(
