We told family & close friends at 9 weeks after our first ultrasound to find out how far along we were. We made it FB official at about 11.5 weeks

I told my parents and close friends when I found out which was 6 weeks. But waited till month 4 to let extended family know as well as work.

My previous pregnancy I had a friend that told everyone and I ended up having a miscarriage which was extremely award and uncomfortable for me.

13 weeks is when I made the "big announcement to the world!" Like everyone else said, I wanted to get out the 1st trimester and ensure my chances of miscarriage was low. I know a lot of people that made the announcement to family, friends and social media; only to miscarry and have to tell everyone while grieving. However, I told my supervisor at 10 weeks because I was diagnosed with a Hyperemesis and was put on bed rest shortly after that!

Told parents right away. Told the rest of the extended family after the first trimester. Haven't put anything online at all (FB) and I'm 22 weeks on Thursday. Just don't feel the need I guess.

I told my close friends at around 7-8 wks, I told my mom at 9 wks, and I told my bosses at 12wks.  I'm 16 wks now and I don't walk around telling the whole world I'm pregnant, but it's no secret anymore neither..

I've miscarried at 11 weeks and at 12 weeks so if we're lucky enough to conceive again we'll be waiting longer than that. We hadn't told "the world" either time but were starting to share with friends and family, breaking the bad news was really hard.

Currently 12.5 weeks... Told family at 10weeks. Will probably tell "the world" in a couple weeks. Definitely didn't want to announce it too early in case I had a miscarriage. They're SO common. :0/

13 weeks after the scan!! I have told people I'm pregnant and then had a miscarriage before and it makes it much harder to also see their disappointment. Thus pregnancy we waited as long as possible!
