I used palmers cocoa butter with my first pregnancy everywhere, 2 times a day and still got them everywhere:/
But it's quality not quantity.Eat healthy and you'll be fine. I'm 5'8 and weigh 124 lbs pre pregnancy, I've gained 60 lbs with both girls.
Oh...and I didn't "eat for two" this pregnancy either like my mom and sister did...they both gained like 70+ lbs during their pregnancy. I try to snack on fruit and yogurt and rarely eat out...I think that's helping that I'm not over gaining weight
This is my third child. I'm 6 wks today. I have this sensory issue where my entire body must be lotioned every single time it becomes wet, hand washing, shower, pool, etc. So I apply lotion like a champ, head to toe. I've been like this since a young age and while prego with both of my girls I applied lotion everywhere, many times a day. I have zero stretch marks to show. Now, I'm in my 30s and pregnant with my third sooooo everything is different this time around! My skin has aged since my 20s, and so on. It may be hereditary but my mom and sis both have them and I do not and we all had the same amount of children. (Other than me now going for a third :)
Just lotion up like crazy! Calves, thighs, bitter, boobs, and of course your tummy, just lotion everything multiple times a day. It can't hurt and if nothing else, your skin will be smooth! Good luck :)
There is no way to avoid. Them . It all depends on your skin.
Idk that you can avoid them...I heard they are hereditary. I'm a ftm, since 14wks I've been using palmers stretch mark cocoa butter twice a day, I'm 32wks tomorrow and I don't have any stretch marks but my mom and sister both do
Impossible. Its purely genetics. You can ease by not eating a crapload and getting fat super fast in pregnancy.. Other than that, aaaaaall genetics.
