VBAC question

Good morning mommies,

Have any of you ladies had a VBAC (vaginal birth after caesarian) done? How was the experience?I'll be 34 weeks n very nervous but also excited to push. Nervous because they said if my water doesn't break or body doesn't go into labor naturally then I'll forced to get an emergency c-section. Can I hear some of your experiences please? Thanking you in advance ;-)

I've heard that, mommabeart, but my dr will only do it after 1 c-section.  Kind of ***** but I knew this before I got pregnant.

Some will allow a vbac after 2 csecs check3 :)

Im going for a vbac due in 16 days so hopefully wont go over my first was an emergency csec and im not wanting another one !! My first was just over 10lbs and #2 little guy is weighing in 3 weeks ahead estimated so cant afford to go over they may not allow one anymore.

I tried a vbac with my last pregnancy. My dr wouldn't let me go more than a few days past my due date & wouldn't induce. So,  I ended up having another c-section. This is my third pregnancy & I'm no longer a candidate for a vbac some I've had 2 c-sections now.  Good luck!

Dilated and throughout the birth was natural and no pain relief only down side was I tore down below but a minor one... When the contraction starts you don't even have time to get nervous or anything.. but at the same time this is my third baby and I am also nervous and scared about going into natural Labour and hoping I can do it again, having a c-section is not a an option I want to take!!

I had an emergency c-section with my first born and then a couple years after I had a vbac... Over in London England they kept us hooked on to the monitor to keep an eye on baby heat beat and all. Also my water was broken for me even though I came into hospital at 4cm

Thank you ladies.. I actually want to deliver vaginally n they told me I'm a great candidate as well. I'm just nervous about it, my 1st one I had my daughter at 36 weeks because of placenta previa. Just curious on how the experience with the vbac will be

I'm having a hard time deciding if I should have a VBAC or not?  I was induced with my first and during labor I halted at 3cm.  After 24 hours doctors decided to go get him. He was born May 2013.  I'm now due with baby #2 in March 2015. I'm not being induced this time and my doctor told me that I'm a candidate for VBAC. Talk it over with your partner, family, friends, and the doctor.  I'm just as undecided as you.  Good luck!

Ill be getting a vbac but my doctor didn't tell me the same thing. This is my 4th birth and with my three girls they had to break my water it never breaks on its own.
