I think everyone is different too though. I got the tdap shot and didn't feel a thing afterwards. No pain or soreness.
Oh no, I've labored and delivered 3 times all natural. Labor is a breeze for me always quick too. Shots, IVs, and drawn blood are the worst part of pregnancy as far as I'm concerened. My Dr calls me Super woman, Bc I have them so easy & fast and am up playing with visitors hours after delivery. Plus labor is something that you expect to be painful but not lasting aches from a simple shot l.
You're about to push a watermelon sized baby out of your vagina but worried about the pain from a tetanus shot? I hope you are getting the epidural lol
Hey there, the reason there is a bit of discomfort for some (not all) is because the shot is given in the muscle. It's the tetanus part of it that has to be given like that. It just kind of feels like a bruise. Goes away pretty quickly. Sorry if anyone suffered a lot from it but if you haven't had it, don't be afraid. I didn't find it bad (got mine two weeks ago).
luck to all. The things we do for the greater good, right?
Yea it hurts so bad i could' sleep for 3 days to
Yeah, it was the same for my husband. His arm hurt for about 3 days too and he's Mr tough guy. I don't remember any other vaccine hurting but those others were when I was a kid... It could be a bad reaction for us though...
But I've only had the usual vaccines, never small pox or Anthrax.
No it cant be compared to any other shot I've had. The shot itself is as normal as any other ( the little stick) its after the shot maybe an hour ir so later it leaves your arm aching. This my third time getting it and it has always affected me the same.
It hurts?? I hadn't heard that Shot hurts.. can u compare it to another shot? I've had several doses of Anthrax vaccines and the small pox.. is it that painful?
Yeah. That one is the worst. 3 days of pain for me too. I can't imagine how bad it hurts babies when they get it.
